Serenity
This was the first waterfall I had seen that incorporated a number of waterfalls. It was this that made me want to paint it. There seems to be a constant stream of water flowing through the rocks and crevices creating a sense of calm.

This waterfall felt quietly strong. Its main theme was the waterfall itself which seems to encapsulate the entire painting. The water gives the sense of molten lava flowing through solid rock, lighting it up with vibrancy and passion. The cool blue rocks give the painting a feeling of serenity. It is a picture of contrasting feelings.
